Wallpaper Installation in Charlotte, NC
Wallpaper Installation in Charlotte, NC
Our Story
Our wallpaper journey started in 2013 in Chicago, where founder Artem Markov began installing wallpaper in Hilton hotels under a local professional installer guidance. There, he honed skills in precision hanging, tight timelines, and high-traffic durability. By 2018, the focus shifted to residential work, allowing more creativity with custom designs and homeowner visions. In 2020, we moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and have been proudly serving the local community—including Fort Mill, Matthews, and the broader metro area—ever since.
This path has built deep expertise across all aspects of wallcovering work, from initial surface preparation and removal of old layers to seamless installation of complex patterns. Today, AM Wallcovering & Painting brings that accumulated knowledge and passion for craftsmanship to every project in the Carolinas.

Wallpaper installation
AM Wallcovering & Painting is Charlotte's trusted wallpaper installation specialist, serving homeowners across the metro area including Matthews, Huntersville, Mint Hill, Ballantyne, Fort Mill, Mooresville, and Cornelius. Led by founder Artem Markov, our team brings over a decade of hands-on experience to every project, from single accent walls to whole-home installations, backed by 160+ five-star Google reviews.
We install all major wallpaper materials. Non-woven wallpapers are a homeowner favorite for their durability, breathability, and easy maintenance — perfect for busy households. Vinyl wallpapers offer exceptional washability and scrubbability, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, and children's rooms. For those seeking natural texture and warmth, we expertly hang grasscloth and other natural fiber wallcoverings, which demand special skill to align seams invisibly and avoid shading variations. We also install custom wall murals and large-format prints that turn any ordinary room into a true statement space.
Our residential focus means we treat your home with the utmost care. Every project starts with thorough wall preparation — filling imperfections, sanding smooth, and applying the right primer — because a flawless installation begins with a flawless surface. We measure precisely, match patterns meticulously at every seam, and hang each panel with meticulous attention to detail. Most bedrooms or accent walls are completed in a single day, with minimal disruption to your daily routine and full cleanup before we leave.
Whether you're updating a powder room, creating a dramatic dining room, adding texture to a home office, or designing a nursery, wallpaper delivers depth and character that paint alone cannot match. Every project includes transparent, upfront quoting with no surprises — you will know the full cost before we begin.
